Panerai presents new products in the Luminor collection. Panerai replica previously presented several new products at its second half of 2024 novelty presentation, including the left-handed Luminor PAM01655. Now, we present two new Luminor products that were not presented at the event.
The Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica is a new product that was unveiled at Miami Design Week 2024 in December last year. The dial is a matte black dial, and all elements, including the indexes, printed logo, hands, and luminous elements, are in black and white. Despite the rich composition of the small seconds, date window, GMT hand, and power reserve indicator, the readability of the dial is excellent thanks to the black and white contrast.
The 44mm case continues the atmosphere of the dial. The case is made of matte black ceramic that creates a sense of unity with the dial. The water resistance is approximately 100m. The crown guard, which is characteristic of the Luminor, as well as the case back, are all made of black ceramic. The bracelet is said to have been inspired by the straight and simple design of Panerai in the early 2000s. In fact, it is the same design as the Luminor Tutornero PAM438. While the current Luminor bracelet has a design that embodies the crown guard, the new product has a simple design in which all elements, including the central link connection, are processed as one piece. The material is also matte black ceramic, the same as the PAM438. Thanks to this, the bracelet harmonizes with the black and white dial and case, completing a minimalist yet modern impression. The movement is Panerai’s in-house automatic caliber P.9012 (frequency 4 Hz, power reserve approx. 72 hours), also used in the Luminor BiTempo.
Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica PAM01674 is limited to 120 pieces per year. The domestic release price is 26.01 million won.
Panerai has also released a New Year’s edition for 2025. This is the Luminor Perpetual Calendar Chinese Calendar, the first Panerai to use Chinese characters on the dial. The burgundy dial with a gradient and sunray finish displays the Chinese characters morning and afternoon at 9 o’clock, replacing the traditional AM/PM notation. The date and day of the week at 3 o’clock are also written in Chinese characters. The case is made of Panerai’s exclusive Goldtech™ material, which increases the proportion of copper (approximately 24%) and adds a small amount of platinum, giving it slightly redder and harder characteristics than the 5N red gold of other brands (approximately 21% copper, 4% silver).
The movement is the Panerai in-house caliber P. 4100 (frequency 4 Hz, power reserve approx. 72 hours). Visible through the caseback, the movement has various information windows for the perpetual calendar function. The upper left of the back shows the month and leap year, while below that, the year. At the bottom left is a circular indicator for the power reserve. On the right side of the movement are the parts related to the drive. At the top is the free-sprung balance, and at the bottom is the 22K gold micro-rotor.
Luminor Perpetual Calendar Chinese Calendar PAM01688 is limited to 100 pieces and the domestic release price is 71.67 million won.
