Seiko has announced two limited editions inspired by Honda’s iconic Super Cub series of motorcycles. Introduced through the Seiko 5 Sports line, the two new products blend the signature design codes of the Honda Super Cub right from the case and dial to the strap and even the package.
Founded in 1958, the Super Cub has been loved by people all over the world while retaining its original design and structure for over 60 years. As of October 2017, production of 100 million units was recorded for the first time in bike history, and it has an ardent fan club around the world with the strongest fuel economy, endurance and durability. The Seiko 5 Sport Super Cub Limited Edition is a special Seiko tribute to the Super Cub omega fake watches.
The two Seiko 5 Sport Super Cub Limited Editions have a common stainless steel case, one with a polished regular steel case and the other with a matte black hard coating finish. In common, the diameter of the case is 42.5mm and the thickness is 13.4mm. In keeping with the case shape and size of the classic SKX series, which has been around for decades, the movement is equipped with an in-house automatic caliber 4R36 with date and day display functions (frequency of 3 Hz, power reserve of about 41 hours).
Both versions were inspired by the design of the Honda Super Cub C125 and embody the elegant silhouette of the Super Cub on the dial in their own way. It was accented with orange or red color accents. In addition, a super-curve emblem is added to the bottom of the dial and inside the glass of the see-through caseback,replica watches announcing that it is a special collaboration edition. We also added the appropriate color combination and Supercurve logo to the NATO-style nylon strap and special box.
The green/white version (Ref. SRPJ49) of the Seiko 5 Sports Super Cub Limited Edition is limited to a total of 6,000 pieces and will be available from November through designated Seiko boutiques and official retail shops around the world, and the black/grey version (Ref. SRPJ75) is limited to 5,000 pieces and will be available from February 2023 next year. For reference, the retail price in Europe is 410 euros for the green/white version (Ref. SRPJ49) and 450 euros (EUR) for the black/grey version (Ref. SRPJ75).
